Overview
Foodworker.com is the exclusive recruiting site for PAX Wholesome Foods and Europa Café restaurants in New York City. The site provides users with a streamlined way to inquire about or apply for available positions at these restaurants and stores. In order to provide this service, we must collect certain personal information. Foodworker.com is committed to the privacy of our users. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure user experience. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect about you, the usage policies and practices that apply to the Foodworker™ Web Site and does not apply to information we collect in any other fashion.
The information we gather on the Foodworker™ Web Site may be shared within the Foodworker affiliated companies, including PAX Ventures LLC, the owner of Foodworker.com and PAX Wholesome Foods and Europa Café (the “Foodworker Network of Companies”), but will not otherwise be shared with any third parties.
The Foodworker™ Web Site may contain links to other web sites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other web sites to which you choose to link from our Sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other Web sites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information.
Collection and Use of Information
We request or may request that you provide personal information, including your name, address, e-mail address, telephone, contact information, and any other information from which your identity is discernible. Additionally, we may request that you submit a resume, curriculum vitae, school transcripts or other supporting job related documents, which may contain personal information (collectively referred to as a user “Resume”). If you do provide such information, you are thereby consenting to the use of that information in accordance with the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Additionally, there is information about your computer hardware and software that is or may be collected by us. This information can include without limitation your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring web site addresses, but is not linked to your personal information.
Our Use of Your Information
We use the information we gather on the Foodworker™ Web Site, whether personal, demographic or technical, for the sole purpose of evaluating and hiring potential employees, operating and improving the site, and fostering a positive user experience.
By submitting your personal information, including a user Resume, you agree that the Foodworker™ Web Site and its affiliated restaurants and stores can keep your information on file in the Foodworker Database in the event a job opportunity arises that may fit your experience. Your personal information and Resume shall not be searchable or otherwise accessible on the Internet to third parties. We may use your contact information in order to send you e-mail or other communications regarding the position you have applied for at the Foodworker™ Web Site or to contact you about other possible opportunities or job postings with the Foodworker Network of Companies. The nature and frequency of these messages will vary depending upon the information we have about you.
Access to, Modification and Removal of Your Information
You can change or update your personally identifiable information or opt out of receiving emails by contacting us at careers@foodworker.com. Additionally, you can request that your personal information and Resume be removed from the Foodworker Database by emailing us at careers@foodworker.com. Confirmation of its removal will be sent to you via email.
Choices Regarding the Disclosure of Personal Information to Others
We do not disclose your personal information or combined personal and demographic information or information about your use of the Foodworker Web Site (such as the areas you visit or the jobs you access) to third parties outside of the Foodworker Network of Companies, except as set forth below.
- We may disclose information to companies and individuals we employ to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include credit and background checking, hosting our Web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and providing customer service. These companies and individuals will have access to your personal information as necessary to perform their functions, but they may not share that information with any other third party.

The Foodworker™ Web Site is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
under 13.

If we decide to materially change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes through a prominent notice on the web site so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and to whom we will disclose it.
